Bilberry extract produced from 100% Vaccinium uliginosum bilberry, widely used in various forms with various industies such as pharmaceutical, food, beverage and cosmetic industries. A powerful compound in bilberries, is anthocyanins which give the blue-violet color to bilberry. Anthocyanins are found in berry fruits such as blueberries, raspberries, bilberries, and are also found in plants with red, violet or blue color, such as as strawberries and butterfly pea flowers. 1.
