Terminalia Chebula is widely used in the traditional medicine of India. It is native to India and Southeast Asia and is commonly known as myrobalan in English. The main medicinal part of Terminalia chebula is the fruit. The pharmacologically active compounds of Terminalia chebula are total phenols as tannins. It also consists of nutrients such as vitamin C, protein, amino acids and minerals
